
Juliana Damasceno is the Executive Manager for Institutional Relations at ACX Brazil, the country’s first carbon credit trading platform, where she leads strategic engagement with public and private stakeholders to strengthen market infrastructure and unlock climate finance opportunities. She holds a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from BI Norwegian Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Magna Cum Laude), bringing robust expertise in sustainable finance and climate policy. Before joining ACX, Juliana held the position of Special Advisor to Brazil’s Minister of Planning and Budget, where she contributed to the federal climate agenda. She also has experience in economic consulting and applied research, having led strategic projects in collaboration with multilateral institutions, including the European Union–Brazil Dialogue.
